This position paper concentrates on three statements regarding the way one should implement object–oriented agents (i.e., roaming software). The focus is more on the aspect of handling distribution and executing agents rather than the language issue. Each statement is explained in more details below. The first section briefly introduces the concept of messengers. In the following sections we explain our position:
